I am tired. And still have homework to do tonight
DistractedWhy the long day you might ask?
I have Western Civilization until 1600 at 11am and Intermediate Spanish II at 1pm.
I got the test back from spanish...
and I wasn't pleased at all. 82%? 82%!?! F***. This is NOT what I needed to get considering I'm still attempting to get an A in all my classes this semester.
On the plus side, I have a 88.86% in that class, which means I'm this close to getting an A.
That grade doesn't count my attendance/participation and my extra credit that I've been getting.
So I went to my classes, and I practiced Spanish with an Emmy-winning Academy award nominated film director who directed Dream People of the Amazon.
Yeah, pretty awesome!
After that I worked with my classmates to finish the script for my College Success Skills class. We almost finished by 5:20ish pm. I then went downstairs to the cafeteria and got dinner. Boy, I was stuffed!
I then went to the Lecture about Environmental Activism featuring the very same Larry Lansberg!
I saw my aunt at the event, which makes sense. She works at the Library at the college and tonight she was handing out tickets for the event.
I got home and blearg. I'm so freakin' tired...
I shoulda done my homework yesterday but I figured that I'd do it tonight, not realizing that I'd get home around 9pm and have little time to do my homework.
:sigh: only a few weeks until I'm done with my first semester of college!
P.S. My Columbian aunt is visiting us and she speaks mostly (99%) Spanish. I'm sleeping in a different place on an air mattress, and I still haven't gotten used to it. Gah. Anyways, see you later!
